Time

The chess club meets every Monday evening from 7:00pm, with most members settling in to play by 7:30pm.

Games are informally arranged on the night, so no prior arrangements are necessary.

Room and Facilities

We usually meet in the restaurant area behind the pub, which provides an excellent space for playing chess away from the main public bar. The restaurant is closed on Mondays so we have the whole room to ourselves. Occasionally we use the pub itself if the restaurant isn’t available because of another commitment, but this doesn’t happen too often.

The Kings Arms has its own carpark, and in the unlikely event of this being full, it is possible to find on-street parking nearby. Drinks and toilets are available in the public bar.
